I adore styling my dudes up in fun, gentlemanly outfits. It’s just as fun to dress a boy as it is a girl. Collin & Aiden are getting a bit older, so I’ve started trying to steer away from the toddler-esque clothes & started trying to give them more of a style identity. Maybe that seems silly, but I think it’s important to feel good in your clothes & take pride in how you look. For me, I believe it breeds a sense of self-confidence & self-worth when you feel good & look good. I want my boys to feel handsome & take pride in their appearance.
The whole gentlemanly look is incredibly appealing to me. I have an entire Pinterest board dedicated to style for men that I use as inspiration for the boys’ clothing. I love that men are getting back to basics. I definitely try to style my boys the same way. This outfit I pieced together for Collin is a definite favorite of mine.
I’m digging the look of cuffed jeans & ankle boots. It’s one of my favorite looks right now. I was thrilled when my Ma picked up a pair of these rad boots from Target & I couldn’t wait to style them with Collin’s jeans.
Can we also talk about my child for a second. He is straight up modeling. I gave this diva zero direction. I don’t even know where he learned to pose like this, but I love it & eat up every photo I take. I would bet that I could send these photos to a modeling agency & have him booked within a week. He’s the AC Slater of his generation, y’all. Dimples & all.
